The Huge Community Yard and Bake Sale Was a ROARING Success!

Our community yard and bake sale was a wonderful success. Many within and outside our Tea Party family (though everyone who donated in every way is truly behind our efforts) lavished this event with more than enough prayer, donations, and encouragement. It was truly humbling to see the outpouring of support and hard, painstaking work that was given to this fundraiser. We could try to name everyone who was involved but, surely, someone would be left out. However, it goes without saying that Mr. Bobby Aycock, who raised his hand months ago at one of our monthly meetings and said yes to the call of helping to organize and implement this laborious effort, deserves our utmost appreciation. From beginning to end, as he drove around town (after having already worked hard in his daily profession) gathering donations for weeks leading up to today’s fundraiser, as he squared away the details piece by piece to ensure that everything ran like a well-oiled machine, he selflessly gave of himself. So, Bobby, from the heart, we all want to express our highest gratitude to you. Thank you sir. You are a good man. Your word is your bond and your work is honorable. And because of you and those who worked so hard to bake cakes and cookies and cup cakes and who donated and worked and cleaned and sold and organized throughout this whole event, the Wilson NC Tea Party was able to raise over $1700 (and this doesn’t include the donated items we are now selling on Amazon.com to retrieve the highest return).

And let us also give thanks to the supernatural power of the hand of Divine Providence Who kept the rainy weather at bay as we went about doing His work in preserving this lamp of Liberty called America. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and granting our requests. You are good. Your hand of provision and care has been apparent from day one and has never left us. May we simply be true to You and Your good name.

Because of the success of this event, we will be able to host what is sure to be a remarkable Pre-Election Rally on the front lawn of the Wilson County Public Library on October 13 (from 12noon-2p). We will be able to provide an event for our fellow patriots that will educate, stir, and rally voters and potential voters alike. Now is the time to register new voters. Now is the time to set brush fires of freedom in the minds of men through education. Now is the time to set our eyes like a flint on our purpose. Now is the time to pray and rend our hearts to God in a Second Chronicles 7:14 fashion. Now is the time to question with boldness, hold to the truth, and speak without fear. Now is the time to spend ourselves for freedom, to give our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor for the maintenance of this great gift of freedom our Founders gave us.

Go to our EVENTS page above, review everything that is coming up and get involved like never before.

The battle is already won. We simply have to finish the game. Are you ready? We are about to make a sound  that is so loud and distinct that the Progressives will pee in their pants . . . of course, even Hell will feel the ripples.

God bless you all!

The Wilson NC Tea Party (WNCTP) does not endorse candidates on the federal, state, or local levels. We are simply pointing our fellow citizens to the principles and values of our founding so that they will be able to vote, in the primary and general elections, for those candidates who are most aligned with those principles and values. With that said all candidate-related posts are for education purposes only.

Also, the views and opinions shared as comments on the WNCTP Blog, by its various members, do not necessarily represent the views and opinions of the WNCTP leadership and volunteer base. Since the WNCTP is “Of The People, For The People, By The People” and believes in the First Amendment, we cannot and will not deny any member their right to “free speech” regarding their political and/or policy positions, but our tolerance of their views does not necessarily reflect consent.
